BIGSOUND 2024 Program Launch Event
On July 24, QMusic and the BIGSOUND team celebrated the launch of the incredibly packed conference, festival, and Goolwal Goolwal programs for 2024.
Our industry partners and guests gathered at the newly renovated Marquee Bar in Fortitude Valley, alongside our Government and Parliamentary friends, to hear from QMusic and BIGSOUND CEO Kris Stewart, newly appointed QMusic President Vivienne Mellish, and Elder-In-Residence Uncle Kev Starkey.
Conference Programmer Tom Larkin, and Music Programmers Katie Rynne and Casey O’Shaughnessy, shared what they’re most looking forward to at this year’s event; and First Nations Officer Sue Ray joined BIGSOUND Co-Director of Programming Mandi McIntyre, to introduce the rich First Nations-led Goolwal Goolwal program for 2024.
