Upstarters is giving one emerging Aus artist or band the chance to take home $20,000 to ‘Upstart’ their music career at the inaugural Upstarters Showcase.
After evaluating hundreds (and we mean hundred’s) of entries and a whole lot of deliberation, Up Bank and Monster Children in association with BIGSOUND are proud to announce the five 2026 Upstarters finalists.
And to every incredible band and artist who entered: thank you. With such an extraordinary pool of talent, ambition and creativity coming out of our country right now… Australian music is in very good hands.
Now, it’s time to see who takes home the $20,000 Upstarters prize.
