Chris Carey is a music economist. He has held a range of music and entertainment insight roles over the past 16 years, including Senior Economist at PRS for Music (the UK equivalent to APRA AMCOS) and Global Insight Director at Universal Music Group. Chris launched his consultancy in 2014 and has worked with Sony Music, Spotify, BMG, and The O2, offering a range of Big Data analytics, Consumer Surveys and Economic Analysis. Chris served as Chief Economist for the UK live industry during Covid.
