Ellie Robinson is a Naarm-based music/pop-culture journalist, critic and editor with a passion for exploring the kaleidoscopic intersections between art and identity.
Her work has been published globally in titles like NME, Guitar World, Junkee and The Music, among others. She is devoted to amplifying the voices of queer creators, fighting for social justice, destigmatising mental illness, and mining from the philosophical and spiritual sides of art.
Ellie's latest passion project is TRANSGENRE, a grassroots initiative celebrating trans and non-binary voices in Australian music. It launched in 2023 with a sold-out festival on Gadigal land, featuring 100% gender-diverse artists.
