Clayton Doughty is a long-standing member of the Australian music industry and part of the Country Music Association’s ANZ Taskforce. Originally a music journalist, in 1994 Clay joined Sony Music working with Pearl Jam, Celine Dion and Oasis. In 1999 Clay relocated to Sony Music’s London office, developing global plans for Primal Scream and Fatboy Slim. Returning to Australia, Clay joined EMI Music, holding several roles before switching to Gibson Guitars, leading their ANZ Entertainment Relations. In 2018, Clay rejoined Sony Music, overseeing domestic, international, catalogue and country artist projects. He has delivered campaigns for Midnight Oil, John Farnham, and Troy Cassar-Daley.
