With 20 years of experience in the music and events industry, Michaella, a proud Bidjara woman, is deeply committed to promoting First Nations voices. As the First Nations Engagement Manager for QMF: QLD Music Trails, she brokers and strengthens relationships with First Nations stakeholders and Traditional Custodians to ensure their involvement in various events across the state. Michaella’s role encompasses developing, maintaining, and enhancing QMF's engagement across Queensland, making sure the organisation’s activities are not only successful but also culturally respectful, inclusive, and reflective of the diverse communities they engage with, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of Indigenous culture.
